Some years ago, during my education days, a teacher, a professor, and friend, suggested I should write, but I avoided creative writing. I had no interest. I wanted to concentrate on my art. I worked in Graphic Arts, both in-house, and freelance, and studied Fine Art at Concordia University, in Montreal. When I couldn't get the credits I wanted for teaching, I switched to English.

When a minor accident curtailed my art work, Romance novels came to my notice. My thought, as so many have said, was, I can write this. Ten years later, I had managed to learn to write. My first novel is in an envelope, buried in a filing cabinet.

It wasn't until I read Georgette Heyer, that I discovered where I wanted to go in writing. MASQUERADE AND MYSTERY began as a romance. It won a first in a "Ticket To Write" contest, and was read by Hilary Ross then at Signet. She suggested I develop the story more. I improved it, and it grew, and became a mystery. In time the story took a little turn, and became a romance once more.

I am a member of several discussion Groups, although I do justice to few.
